The 2023 festival will be held Friday, June 30th, and Saturday, July 1st, 2023 in Marshall Park in Ontario, Ohio. The festival continues to grow and many new features will be added this year. Food, Concerts, 5K Run, Games, Food Eating Contests, Raffle, Kid's Area, and the area's largest fireworks display synchronized to music on Mix 106.1FM WVNO. Kicking off the festival Friday, July 1st, it is the Ontario Youth Sports, Milliron Auto Parts Land Regatta. The Land Regatta is a soap box derby style race where contestants build non-powered cars and race down Dunlap Drive through Marshall Park. Last year's event brought many styles and designs and this year is going to be even bigger. Looking for an adult beverage while you enjoy the Milliron Auto Parts - Ontario Youth Sports Land Regatta and the Ontario Car Show? Stop by and enjoy a draft brew in the beer garden with DJ Tony Mitchell of Mix 106.1FM. Beer garden is open from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm

New this year is the Friday Night Corn Hole Tournament! Teams of two will compete for the 2022 Ontario Cornhole championship! This event will start at 6:00PM. Cost is $30 a team, that will be collected at the event. Get your team together and get signed up to compete! There is max number of teams allowed in this event so don’t wait to get registered. The most extensive raffle in Festival history will take place this year. Raffle prizes include TVs, area restaurants, and even a car! This is where you come to look at a LIVE feed of winning numbers, they will also be displayed on our WMFD Jumbo Outdoor TV in the park. More details coming as we get closer to the event.
At Noon all our food vendors open for all your festival food cravings! This year ALL food vendors will be in Marshall Park. Come enjoy great food and enjoy our fantastic park!
New to the festival this year is the Patriotic Pooch Parade at 3:00pm! Get out the Red, White, and Blue outfits and take your pooch for a walk down the parade route. All participants will need to line up at the High School Parking Lot at 2:20 PM July 2nd. We will kick off the Pooch Parade at 3:00PM sharp. Plan on the Pooch Parade ending at the Dog Park – where we will pass out awards for the following categories.
1. Best Costume
2. Most Creative
3. That’s My Baby Dog Award
We ask that all dogs be on a leash and that you clean up any pooch messes as we have a big group following you! We do need you to pre-register with us for the Patriotic Pooch Parade. Please click the link below for simple registration.
This year's parade is going to be one of the biggest with a NEW ROUTE. The parade will run down a portion of Shelby-Ontario Road and go through the park. A viewing map will be posted soon. If you want to be a part of the parade, click "I want to be in the parade" link below so we can get you signed up. A special pet parade kicks off at 3:00 pm with the rest of the entries to follow. Friday July 1st 7:30PM (open to first eight registrants 19 & over)
Saturday July 2nd 7:00PM (open to first eight registrants that represent a High School team)
Saturday July 2nd 7:45PM (open to first eight registrants that represent a Civic Department in Richland County)
Saturday July 2nd 8:30PM (open to first eight registrants that represent a Business in Richland County)

Let the kids burn off the energy! This year's kids' area will be filled with inflatables and events for all ages. Thank you to Ontario Police Department for handling security so that everyone is safe! Kids area is open from 12 noon to 10 pm
The marquee event is our Ontario Lions Club Frog Jump Contest! Big frogs like one of the past champions above, little frogs, and even the occasional toad show up for for the big jump! Complete rules will be posted here now. Start feeding your frogs and get them pumped for this family fun event! Event is at 4:15pm - 5:15pm at the Food Vendor Stage.

New this year is the OYS Jump Around. This event will take place right after the Lions Club Frog Jump. Stop by the pavilion near food trucks and place your bid on celebrity frogs. The highest bid for each frog gets entered into the jump off bracket. Frogs will enter the red carpet and into the frog jump ring. The winning frogs highest bidder will when an amazing prize and it all goes to help are local sports programs.
The Pour One Nine Beer Festival and VIP BBQ Dinner kicks off at 5:30pm. Two concerts on the Avita Health System, Richland Public Health & Mix 106.1 Concert Stage including Soul Slater & The Horns Band at 5:30pm and Fleetwood Macked at 8pm!
